Warehouse Operative

Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in Sherburn in Elmet.

The rate of pay is:

- £11.72 first 12 weeks
You also get paid a premium after
Mon- Fri after 6 pm - 6am £2.10 per hour
Sat 6am-6pm £0.96 per hour
Sat 6pm-6am £3.06 per hour
Sun 6am-6pm £1.51 per hour
Sun 6pm-6am £3.61 per hour

- £12.39 after 12 weeks
You also get paid a premium after
Mon- Fri after 6 pm - 6 am £2.65 per hour
Sat 6am-6pm £1.01 per hour
Sat 6pm-6am £3.66 per hour
Sun 6am-6pm £1.59 per hour
Sun 6pm-6am £4.24 per hour

Overtime is available at this site and paid time and a half.

This is a full-time role working fixed or rotating shifts, the hours of work are:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm

Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include:

- Order picking at a leading supermarket distribution center
- Using watch straps, scanners or headsets to pick items while loading cages and pallets ready for delivery
- Picking to targets

Some heavy lifting is involved in this role.

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Warehouse Operative should be punctual, have a keen eye for detail and must have a basic understanding of English both verbal and written.

Experience in a similar role is desirable as a Warehouse Operative/Production Operative, but not essential as full training is provided.
